SKU/Catalog Number
EKC2274
Size
1 kit, containing two 96-well plates and all necessary reagents
Description
The Smad2/3 (Phospho-Thr8) Cell-Based ELISA Kit is a convenient, lysate-free, high throughput and sensitive assay kit that can monitor Smad2/3 (Phospho-Thr8) protein expression profile in cells. The kit can be used for measuring the relative amounts of Smad2/3 (Phospho-Thr8) in cultured cells as well as screening for the effects that various treatments, inhibitors (ie. siRNA or chemicals), or activators have on Smad2/3 (Phospho-Thr8).
Storage & Handling
Store at 4°C for up to 6 months.

1 Customer Q&As for Smad2/3 (Phospho-Thr8) Colorimetric Cell-Based ELISA Kit
Question
Does this kit measure both phosphorylated Smad2/3 and total of Smad2/3 because this kit has 100x Anti-SMAD3 (Phospho-specific) Antibody (Rabbit Polyclonal) and 100x Anti-SMAD3 Antibody (Rabbit Polyclonal)?

Answer
The 100x Anti-SMAD2/3 (Phospho-Thr8) Antibody (red cap vial) is predicted to detect Smad2/3 phosphorylated at Thr8. The 100x Anti-SMAD2/3 Antibody (purple cap vial) is predicted to detect the un-phosphorylated form of Smad2/3. They are both included in the EKC2274.
