2 Customer Q&As for Poly-L-Lysine Coated Slides

Question

We have ventana autostainer. We prepare silane coated slides on our own. We further coat the slides with 1% BSA to make it hydrophilic. Will this procedure affect the IHC staining when using your AR1065?

Verified customer

Asked: 2022-08-03

Answer

Theoretically, coating the Poly-L-Lysine Coated Slides (AR1065) with 1% BSA would not affect the IHC staining. However, our lab hasn't experimentally verified this. We can not guarantee no effect would be produced. We suggest to run a pilot test.
