Contactins mediate cell surface interactions during nervous system development. Participates in oligodendrocytes generation by acting as a ligand of NOTCH1. Its association with NOTCH1 promotes NOTCH1 activation through the released notch intracellular domain (NICD) and subsequent translocation to the nucleus. We are currently using anti-CNTN6/Contactin 6 antibody A07585-1 for human tissue, and we are well pleased with the WB results. The species of reactivity given in the datasheet says human. Is it true that the antibody can work on horse tissues as well?
