A synthesized peptide derived from human Calsequestrin 1 Calsequestrin is a high-capacity, moderate affinity, calcium-binding protein and thus acts as an internal calcium store in muscle. The release of calcium bound to calsequestrin through a calcium release channel triggers muscle contraction. Binds 40 to 50 moles of calcium. Also binds laminin.

We are currently using anti-Calsequestrin 1 Monoclonal antibody M05235 for human tissue, and we are well pleased with the WB results. The species of reactivity given in the datasheet says human, mouse, rat. Is it possible that the antibody can work on canine tissues as well?

The anti-Calsequestrin 1 Monoclonal antibody (M05235) has not been tested for cross reactivity specifically with canine tissues, though there is a good chance of cross reactivity.
