Background of Zc3h8
Acts as a transcriptional repressor of the GATA3 promoter. Sequence-specific DNA-binding factor that binds to the 5'-AGGTCTC-3' sequence within the negative cis-acting element intronic regulatory region (IRR) of the GATA3 gene By similarity. Induces thymocyte apoptosis when overexpressed, which may indicate a role in regulation of thymocyte homeostasis.

Answer
The anti-ZC3H8/Fliz1 antibody (A12985) has not been validated for cross reactivity specifically with bovine tissues, but there is a good chance of cross reactivity. We have an innovator award program that if you test this antibody and show it works in bovine you can get your next antibody for free. Please contact me if I can help you with anything.
