Background of V2 Vasopressin R/AVPR2
NEK2, also called serine/threonine-protein kinase Nek2NimA-related protein kinase 2, NimA-like protein kinase 1 and HSPK 21, is a protein kinase involved in mitotic regulation that may have a role at the G2-M transition and may also play a role in meiosis. NEK2 has a nuclear localization and accumulates throughout S phase and shows maximal levels in late G2. This expression pattern is highly reminiscent of that of A and B cyclins.
Antibody Validation
Boster validates all antibodies on WB, IHC, ICC, Immunofluorescence, and ELISA with known positive control and negative samples to ensure specificity and high affinity, including thorough antibody incubations.

Question
Does A01660 anti-Vasopressin Receptor V2 antibody work on parafin embedded sections? If so, which fixation method do you recommend we use (PFA, paraformaldehyde, other)?
Verified Customer
Verified customer
Asked: 2019-09-12
Answer
As indicated on the product datasheet, A01660 anti-Vasopressin Receptor V2 antibody as been tested on ELISA. It is best to use PFA for fixation because it has better tissue penetration ability. PFA needs to be prepared fresh before use. Long term stored PFA turns into formalin, as the PFA molecules congregate and become formalin.
