Immunogen
A synthesized peptide derived from human PHD2 / prolyl hydroxylase Catalyzes the post-translational formation of 4-hydroxyproline in hypoxia-inducible factor (HIF) alpha proteins. Hydroxylates HIF-1 alpha at 'Pro-402' and 'Pro-564', and HIF-2 alpha. Functions as a cellular oxygen sensor and, under normoxic conditions, targets HIF through the hydroxylation for proteasomal degradation via the von Hippel-Lindau ubiquitination complex.

4 Customer Q&As for Anti-PHD2 / prolyl hydroxylase Monoclonal Antibody
Question
Does anti-PHD2 / prolyl hydroxylase Monoclonal antibody M00415 work on goat WB with aorta?
Verified Customer

Asked: 2019-08-12
Answer
Our lab technicians have not tested anti-PHD2 / prolyl hydroxylase Monoclonal antibody M00415 on goat. You can run a BLAST between goat and the immunogen sequence of anti-PHD2 / prolyl hydroxylase Monoclonal antibody M00415 to see if they may cross-react. If the sequence homology is close, then you can perform a pilot test. Keep in mind that since we have not validated goat samples, this use of the antibody is not covered by our guarantee. However we have an innovator award program that if you test this antibody and show it works in goat aorta in WB, you can get your next antibody for free.
