Background of MRPL9
This is a nuclear gene encoding a protein component of the 39S subunit of the mitochondrial ribosome. Alternative splicing results in multiple transcript variants. A pseudogene of this gene is found on chromosome 8.

Question
Will anti-MRPL9 antibody A14845 work on goat WB with lung?
Verified Customer
Verified customer
Asked: 2019-08-14
Answer
Our lab technicians have not tested anti-MRPL9 antibody A14845 on goat. You can run a BLAST between goat and the immunogen sequence of anti-MRPL9 antibody A14845 to see if they may cross-react. If the sequence homology is close, then you can perform a pilot test. Keep in mind that since we have not validated goat samples, this use of the antibody is not covered by our guarantee. However we have an innovator award program that if you test this antibody and show it works in goat lung in WB, you can get your next antibody for free.
