Background of Cyclin D2
Inaba et al. (1992) used murine cDNA clones for 3 cyclin D genes that are normally expressed during the G1 phase of the cell cycle to clone the cognate human genes. D-type cyclins (cyclins D1, D2, and D3) are regarded as essential links between cell environment and the core cell cycle machinery. cyclin D2 (CCND2) gene ia assigned to 12p13.
Antibody Validation
Boster validates all antibodies on WB, IHC, ICC, Immunofluorescence, and ELISA with known positive control and negative samples to ensure specificity and high affinity, including thorough antibody incubations.

Question
Would anti-Cyclin D2 antibody (Monoclonal, DCS-3) MA1034 work on canine WB with bone marrow?
A. Kulkarni
Verified customer
Asked: 2014-07-29
Answer
Our lab technicians have not tested anti-Cyclin D2 antibody (Monoclonal, DCS-3) MA1034 on canine. You can run a BLAST between canine and the immunogen sequence of anti-Cyclin D2 antibody (Monoclonal, DCS-3) MA1034 to see if they may cross-react. If the sequence homology is close, then you can perform a pilot test. Keep in mind that since we have not validated canine samples, this use of the antibody is not covered by our guarantee. However we have an innovator award program that if you test this antibody and show it works in canine bone marrow in WB, you can get your next antibody for free.
