Transcription factor that binds to the enhancer element PRE-I (positive regulatory element-I) of the IL-4 gene. Might change the DNA-binding specificity of other transcription factors and recruit them to unusual DNA sites.

We are currently using anti-CEBPG/Cebp Gamma antibody A09205-1 for rat tissue, and we are well pleased with the IHC results. The species of reactivity given in the datasheet says human, mouse, rat. Is it likely that the antibody can work on primate tissues as well?

The anti-CEBPG/Cebp Gamma antibody (A09205-1) has not been validated for cross reactivity specifically with primate tissues, though there is a good chance of cross reactivity.
