Product info
Product Overview
The Multiplex Human Cytokine Panel 1 (6-Plex) is a fully quantitative ELISA-based chemiluminescent assay allowing concurrent measurement of six biomarkers or analytes (IL-1β, IL-6, TNFα, IFN-γ, IL-1α, IL-10).
Each kit contains a 96-well plate, with each well featuring the relevant biomarker panel, and all the reagents required to perform testing. Multiplex plates are built by absorbing six distinct capture antibodies in a defined array to the bottom of each well. Our high-quality reagents help ensure the accuracy of your results.
Using only 25 µl of sample per well, up to 80 samples can be assayed for all six markers in the panel in 2.25 hours. Multiplex Arrays provide scientists with an easy-to-use and cost-effective means of generating a cytokine profile for each sample.

2 Customer Q&As for Multiplex ELISA Kit For Human Cytokine Panel 1 (6-Plex)
Question
What type of plate reader needs to be used for MEK1010?
Verified customer
Asked: 2022-06-05
Answer
Regular plate readers rely on a spectrophotometric detection method, which is not compatible with the Q-Plex arrays. Q-Plex use a chemiluminescent detection method which requires a high resolution picture be captured of the plate. Other imagers can potentially be used but since those are usually for other purposes they do not give the quality of data that would normally pass our quality standards. If the user needs to use a 3rd party imager they should look for something able to take pictures like a Bio Rad Chemidoc. Otherwise, we highly recommend the use of a Q-View imager.

Question
I want to know if MEK1010 kit will be compatible with cytation 5 microplate reader?
Verified customer
Asked: 2020-07-01
Answer
We do not keep track of third party imager models so I cannot speak to whether or not the cytation 5 microplate reader will be compatible. Here are the minimum requirements for a third party imager to be compatible: 1. The imager has a light‐tight imaging chamber, a non‐illumination or chemi-luminescent mode, and can export grayscale 16‐bit TIFF files. 2. Camera‐based imagers must also have at least 1 MP resolution (4+ MP, flat‐field correction, and a cooled sensor is preferred).
