Expressed in the thymus and to a lesser extent in the spleen but not detectable in non-lymphoid tissues. Highly expressed in thymocytes between the pre-T-cell antigen receptor (pre-TCR) and positive-selection checkpoints and expressed at low level in mature T-cells (at protein level).
