Plays a role in intracellular protein trafficking and degradation. May regulate CFTR chloride currents and acid-induced ASIC3 currents by modulating cell surface expression of both channels.

May also regulate the intracellular trafficking of the ADR1B receptor. May play a role in autophagy.

Stephen Don "Steve" Boster 64 year old Stephen Don "Steve" Boster, from Madison, WI, passed peacefully in his sleep on June 6 2022. He was born in Joliet, IL and died of COVID-19. Steve was married to Frances Kimberly Blanton, David Boster, Nina Mae Hall. He is survived by his two Daughters and two Daughters - Natosha Peck and Crystal Boster - and six grandchildren. He was preceded in death by 4 Brothers: Jack Boster and Sandra Blanton. He has a brother named Jack Boster and an older sister, Lisa Milton, as also a son named Jonathan Jr.
