Background of Claudin 10
Plays a major role in tight junction-specific obliteration of the intercellular space, through calcium-independent cell-adhesion activity. May form permselective paracellular pores; isoform 1 appears to create pores preferentially permeable to cations and isoform 2 for anions. Plays a key role in controlling cation selectivity and transport in the thick ascending limb (TAL) of Henle's loop in kidney.

We are currently using anti-Claudin 10 antibody A10653 for mouse tissue, and we are happy with the WB results. The species of reactivity given in the datasheet says human, mouse. Is it true that the antibody can work on dog tissues as well?

The anti-Claudin 10 antibody (A10653) has not been validated for cross reactivity specifically with dog tissues, but there is a good chance of cross reactivity.
