Product info
Product Overview
The Multiplex Mouse Cytokine – Inflammation (13-plex) is a fully quantitative ELISA-based chemiluminescent assay allowing the concurrent measurement of 13 biomarkers or analytes. Using just 25 µl of sample per well, up to 80 samples can be assayed for all 13 markers in the panel within 5.5 hours.
The Multiplex Mouse Cytokine – Inflammation (13-plex) provides researchers an easy to use and cost-effective means of generating a cytokine profile for each sample. Multiplex plates are built by adsorbing 13 distinct capture antibodies in a defined array to the bottom of each well. Our high-quality reagents help ensure the accuracy of your results.

4 Customer Q&As for Multiplex ELISA Kit For Mouse Cytokine - Inflammation (13-plex)
Question
Can Multiplex ELISA Kit For Mouse Cytokine - Inflammation (14-Plex) (MEK1003) be used on DS2 DYNEX ELISA Processor?
Verified customer
Asked: 2022-04-18
Answer
The DS2 DYNEX ELISA Processor would not be able to completely run one of our kits. Specifically, the DS2 uses a reader that would not be compatible with our kits. Ultimately the customer would need to capture a high resolution image of the plate (which the DS2 seems unable to do). However, the DS2 could likely handle most other steps of the protocol outside of initially reconstituting and diluting the calibrator.

Question
Can MEK1003 be used for brain, liver and kidney tissues obtained from mice?
Verified customer
Asked: 2020-10-01
Answer
The Multiplex ELISA Kit For Mouse Cytokine - Inflammation (14-Plex) (MEK1003) is only validated for Cell Culture Supernates, Serum, and Plasma, though we've had a few customers send in homogenized brain tissue and homogenized lung tissue and obtain results. As long as it is homogenized, the kits should be able to provide results. If you are interested, we often offer to run a few samples to see if their samples will yield results.

Question
Which imager should be used for detection. Can they use “normal” chemiluminescence detector e.g for gel imaging?
Verified customer
Asked: 2019-08-29
Answer
A normal imager will not work with this kit. We do have demo packages where you can send samples to be tested or we can send a reader with a kit. Here are the demo options. https://www.bosterbio.com/multiplex-elisa-demo-options
