Membrane-associated protein kinase which phosphorylates on serine and threonine residues. Also autophosphorylates.

May be involved in secretory vesicle trafficking or intracellular signaling. May have a role in regulating stromal-epithelial interactions which occur during ductal morphogenesis in the mammary gland.
