Highest levels in lung, kidney, brain and colon, very low levels in liver and bladder and no expression in spleen or seminal vesicle (at protein level). Isoform 1 is expressed in liver, kidney and testis with low levels in skeletal muscle and heart. Isoform 1 and isoform 2 are expressed in brain and lung. Isoform 2 is the main isoform expressed in skeletal muscle and heart. Isoform 3 is limited to brain stem, cerebellum and spinal cord.
