Facts about Immunoglobulin lambda constant 1.
In the recognition phase of humoral immunity, the membrane-bound immunoglobulins serve as receptors which, upon binding of a specific antigen, trigger the clonal expansion and differentiation of B lymphocytes into immunoglobulins-secreting plasma cells. Secreted immunoglobulins mediate the effector phase of humoral immunity, which results in the elimination of bound antigens (PubMed:22158414, PubMed:20176268).

You need to be aware of the alleles that the IGLC1 marker recognizes if you want to use it in your next gene research. The IGLC1 gene has four reference alleles in mouse and human. Boster's gene datagraphics contain information about all these alleles. You can search the search bar to find the gene you are interested in. This information will help you make informed decisions regarding your gene research.
IGLC1's importance in identifying cancer cells is not the only reason it has significant functional relationships. It is currently associated with 1,089 biological entities as well as 27 datasets. In addition, IGLC1 has a high correlation with IGLV1-44.
This study revealed that IGLC1 was also upregulated in OA cells, as well IGLV1-44. These genes are expected to be biomarkers for OA. Tong Ye. Zhou Hao Yuan. Xu Kang Yong. Li Wenxiang Jia. Wolters Kluwer Health published this article.
The IGLC1 gene was recently discovered in rabbits. It is a useful marker for determining the frequency of genes. The IGLC1 genetic code consists of two segments. One encodes a transcribed element and the other a nucleotide. The IGLC1 gene can also be found in human blood cells. This marker can also be used to identify human cells that have a particular genotype.
It matches the IMGT genotype to the mm10 Ig genes of their respective gene segmentes. Blastn (v2.9.0), was used for alignment the IGLC1 genes segments. To accommodate short sequences blastn-short was utilized. For each gene segment, a match was made with a single IMGT allele with a 100% identity.
To determine the IgHd5-7 genetic allele frequency, a PCR is performed in duplicate with sequence-specific primes. A gel is run following the first reaction to visualize PCR product. The sequences of the reverse primers used in the first PCR reaction are K_GSP1c, L_GSP1c, and G_GSP1h-f on lanes 1-2, respectively. These primers were specifically designed to detect IgHd5-7.
These alleles are derived form the MMLV H–reverse transcriptase. This enzyme adds cytosines at the 3' end newly synthesized DNA. There are three subtypes in the cDNA coding IgHd5-7. These alleles come from two distinct populations with similar distribution patterns.
