Figure 1. Western blot analysis of PRDX6 using anti-PRDX6 antibody (M01847).
Electrophoresis was performed on a 5-20% SDS-PAGE gel at 70V (Stacking gel) / 90V (Resolving gel) for 2-3 hours. The sample well of each lane was loaded with 30 ug of sample under reducing conditions.
Lane 1: human PC-3 whole cell lysates,
Lane 2: human K562 whole cell lysates,
Lane 3: human Hela whole cell lysates,
Lane 4: rat brain tissue lysates,
Lane 5: rat liver tissue lysates,
Lane 6: mouse brain tissue lysates,
Lane 7: mouse liver tissue lysates.
After electrophoresis, proteins were transferred to a nitrocellulose membrane at 150 mA for 50-90 minutes. Blocked the membrane with 5% non-fat milk/TBS for 1.5 hour at RT. The membrane was incubated with rabbit anti-PRDX6 antigen affinity purified polyclonal antibody (Catalog # M01847) at 1:500 overnight at 4°C, then washed with TBS-0.1%Tween 3 times with 5 minutes each and probed with a goat anti-rabbit IgG-HRP secondary antibody at a dilution of 1:5000 for 1.5 hour at RT. The signal is developed using an Enhanced Chemiluminescent detection (ECL) kit (Catalog # EK1002) with Tanon 5200 system. A specific band was detected for PRDX6 at approximately 25 kDa. The expected band size for PRDX6 is at 25 kDa.

Question
Would anti-PRDX6/Peroxiredoxin 6 Rabbit Monoclonal antibody M01847 work on goat IF with cervix carcinoma erythroleukemia?
Verified Customer
Verified customer
Asked: 2019-09-04
Answer
Our lab technicians have not validated anti-PRDX6/Peroxiredoxin 6 Rabbit Monoclonal antibody M01847 on goat. You can run a BLAST between goat and the immunogen sequence of anti-PRDX6/Peroxiredoxin 6 Rabbit Monoclonal antibody M01847 to see if they may cross-react. If the sequence homology is close, then you can perform a pilot test. Keep in mind that since we have not validated goat samples, this use of the antibody is not covered by our guarantee. However we have an innovator award program that if you test this antibody and show it works in goat cervix carcinoma erythroleukemia in IF, you can get your next antibody for free.
