ELISA of human immunoglobulins shows RM124 only reacted to human IgA1. Very slightly cross reacts with IgA2. No cross reactivity with human IgG, IgM, IgD, or IgE. The plate was coated with 50 ng/well of different immunoglobulins. 200 ng/mL, 50ng/mL, or 10 ng/mL of RM124 was used as the primary antibody. An alkaline phosphatase conjugated anti-rabbit IgG as the secondary antibody.

We are currently using anti-Human IgA1 Rabbit Monoclonal antibody, Clone#RM124 M07514-2 for human tissue, and we are well pleased with the ELISA results. The species of reactivity given in the datasheet says human. Is it possible that the antibody can work on goat tissues as well?

The anti-Human IgA1 Rabbit Monoclonal antibody, Clone#RM124 (M07514-2) has not been validated for cross reactivity specifically with goat tissues, though there is a good chance of cross reactivity.
