Immunohistochemical analysis of paraffin-embedded human stomach carcinoma tissue using anti-delta Sarcoglycan antibody. The section was pre-treated using heat mediated antigen retrieval with Tris-EDTA buffer (pH 8.0-8.4) for 20 minutes. The tissues were blocked in 5% BSA for 30 minutes at room temperature, washed with ddH2O and PBS, and then probed with the primary antibody ( 1/100) for 30 minutes at room temperature. The detection was performed using an HRP conjugated compact polymer system. DAB was used as the chromogen. Tissues were counterstained with hematoxylin and mounted with DPX.

Question
Will anti-delta Sarcoglycan Rabbit Monoclonal antibody M05297 work on pig IP with lung?
A. Zhao
Verified customer
Asked: 2015-03-18
Answer
Our lab technicians have not validated anti-delta Sarcoglycan Rabbit Monoclonal antibody M05297 on pig. You can run a BLAST between pig and the immunogen sequence of anti-delta Sarcoglycan Rabbit Monoclonal antibody M05297 to see if they may cross-react. If the sequence homology is close, then you can perform a pilot test. Keep in mind that since we have not validated pig samples, this use of the antibody is not covered by our guarantee. However we have an innovator award program that if you test this antibody and show it works in pig lung in IP, you can get your next antibody for free.
