Background of CDC37
Hsp90 co-chaperone Cdc37, also called P50CDC37 is a protein that in humans is encoded by the CDC37 gene. The protein encoded by this gene is highly similar to Cdc 37, a cell division cycle control protein of Sacchromyces cerevisiae. This gene is mapped to 19p13.2. This protein is a molecular chaperone with specific function in cell signal transduction. It has been shown to form complex with Hsp90 and a variety of protein kinases including CDK4, CDK6, SRC, RAF-1, MOK, as well as eIF2 alpha kinases. It is though to play a critical role in directing Hsp90 to its target kinases.
Antibody Validation
Boster validates all antibodies on WB, IHC, ICC, Immunofluorescence, and ELISA with known positive control and negative samples to ensure specificity and high affinity, including thorough antibody incubations.

Question
Will anti-Cdc37 antibody PA2139 work on goat WB with cervix carcinoma erythroleukemia?
J. Jones
Verified customer
Asked: 2013-12-31
Answer
Our lab technicians have not tested anti-Cdc37 antibody PA2139 on goat. You can run a BLAST between goat and the immunogen sequence of anti-Cdc37 antibody PA2139 to see if they may cross-react. If the sequence homology is close, then you can perform a pilot test. Keep in mind that since we have not validated goat samples, this use of the antibody is not covered by our guarantee. However we have an innovator award program that if you test this antibody and show it works in goat cervix carcinoma erythroleukemia in WB, you can get your next antibody for free.
