This is one of the several different receptors for 5-hydroxytryptamine (serotonin), a biogenic hormone that functions as a neurotransmitter, a hormone, and a mitogen. The activity of this receptor is mediated by G proteins.

We are currently using anti-5-HT-5A antibody A10438 for human tissue, and we are well pleased with the WB results. The species of reactivity given in the datasheet says human. Is it likely that the antibody can work on dog tissues as well?
