May be involved in hyperalgesia associated with inflammatory and neuropathic pain (By similarity). Receptor for L- alpha-lysophosphatidylinositol (LPI).

LPI induces Ca(2+) release from intracellular stores through the heterotrimeric G protein GNA13 and RHOA. Putative cannabinoid receptor.
